VRTUCAR, after many years of discussion (and a very low claims history), is now very pleased to offer their shared fleet of 92 vehicles to Ontario G class licence holders who have reached the age of 21 years – previously the minimum age was 23 years of age! VRTUCAR’s insurance provider does require a 5-year driving record for 21-24 year old applicants to the VRTUCAR program.
We feel this positive change will directly impact members of the Carleton University campus community. VRTUCAR is planning some additional promotion of their service on Ottawa post-secondary campuses in the upcoming months. VRTUCAR bays are currently hosted at Algonquin College, Carleton University, Universdity of Ottawa, and St. Paul Univeristy – and a reciprocal parking arrangement (no pay parking) is available to booked users travelling from and parking at these campus locations.
