Student Permit Rates
Please find below the new student parking rates for 2026-2027, which come into effect May 1, 2026. Increases to parking rates are determined following a review of infrastructure costs, as well as industry parking rate standards.
Student Parking Permits Rate Increases
Effective May 1, 2026, student parking permits rates will increase by three per cent.
A standard student permit will increase from $563 to $580 + HST.
A Student Residence Parking permit will increase from $747 to $769 + HST and a Sessional (Student Employee) permit will increase from $779 to $802.37 + HST.

Summer permits are valid from May 1 to August 31 every year. Student Summer Permits can be purchased at carleton.parkadmin.com
Annual student permits are valid from September 1 – April 30 every year. Permits can also be purchased for a single term.
Attention Residence Students
Please contact Parking Services directly if you require a P18 parking permit.
* Evening Permit (After 5 p.m.) allows access to the Library Garage Levels 2/3, and P18, and P11 and P4 ONLY after 5 p.m. (Monday-Friday). An added benefit of an Evening permit is access to P7 starting at 3:30 p.m. nightly (Mononday-Friday).
Note: Lot 7 is the overflow lot for P6 and P18. If permit holders ever find their assigned Lot P6 or P18 full, they may park in P7 without additional payment.
Parking Services uses virtual parking permits
There is no requirement for a physical parking permit to be displayed. We verify your parking permit by the license plate you have registered on your parking account.
