Congratulations to all of the Teaching Assistants (TAs) who were nominated for the EDC’s Outstanding TA Awards and many departmental TA awards. We received more than 450 nominations for approximately 230 unique nominees this year, highlighting the amazing accomplishments of Carleton’s TAs.
The awards celebrate the TAs’ dedication to undergraduate learning. TAs occupy a challenging position at the university: they carry a great deal of responsibility and have an incredibly important role working with both students and faculty. These awards aim to shine a light on the work that they do around the university.

The adjudications committee is hard at work as of the moment of writing this, and the recipients of the EDC Outstanding TA Awards will be revealed in early May. Announcements regarding departmental TA awards, meanwhile, will vary by department.
