Join the Immersive Learning team at the Experiential Learning Hub (ELH) for an introductory workshop on using 3D scanning for teaching and learning. The ELH hosts several 3D scanners and software for instructors and students; including mobile LiDAR cameras, stationary tabletop scanners, and photogrammetry software. This workshop will provide an overview of available scanning options and example workflows, as well as the support services available through the ELH and teaching alignment strategies to integrate scanning.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Recognize how 3D scanning can be used in your lessons and for student assignments
  • Identify services and scanning options available through the Experiential Learning Hub
  • Evaluate some of the pros and cons of different scanning options and workflows
  • Select appropriate 3D scanning workflows for your project or teaching goals

No prior experience with scanning needed! Register below for this in-person session today — space is limited.
