In August, Social Work PhD candidate Deborah Young launched a community beading project in collaboration with the Centre for Indigenous Initiatives, with the goal of creating 215 baby vamps to honour the lost and missing children who attended residential schools.  Young’s call ends on September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  CBC News interviewed Young about the project, which has now received nearly 200 contributions from individuals and organizations in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
